The Epic Empires website has been around in one form or another for over 10 years as of this writing. Originally it was simply a site for various information about all types of role-playing games. It then molded itself into a site specific to our role-playing group which is located near San Jose, California. At that time I detailed a lot of information about my campaign world The Epic Empires.

This latest incarnation of the site is primarily geared towards our gaming group still, however you may find some information here helpful. In addition the blog feature of the site is designed specifically for the general public and discusses game conventions and other thoughts about gaming and the industry.

As the owner of the site I have about 25 years of RPG experience. I began with the basic D&D set and have played a variety of games from AD&D, Gamma World, Traveller, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk, Rifts, Palladium, MERP, and most recently Warhammer 40k. (There are more, but too numerous to list!)

Ultimately, my heart lies with RPG’s and in particular I always seem to return to Dungeons & Dragons as my core game experience. However, with the introduction of 4th edition I have less and less interest in it. Lately I have become a creature of 40k so most of the updates here will be about that for the forseeable future.
